Things looked very upper band this morning, with audio (mostly weak) on several channels as early as 1447UT. Given that there have been high band sunrise peaks around 1550UT of late, this sounded promising, but it was not to be. However, audio did pop up on a couple of channels as late as 1625UT, but that was the end of things.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly): 1593 CNR-1 at 1509UT man and woman in CC //6030. Still some audio as late as 1620UT reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise): 1566 HLAZ at 1511UT, man in CC; still there though weaker at 1622UT not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker 1377 CNR-1 //6030 at 1447 Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) : 1422 could be JJ talk? 1622UT 1503 possibly JOUK at 1624UT, but no // available Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): 1359, 1494 best wishes, Nick ***************************** Nick Hall-Patch Victoria, BC Canada _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
