Thanks, Neil and Paul,
I know XEMA La Madre now goes into my target list. KAAY makes sense. KPSZ in
IA is a frequent visitor. Seemed more to the sw, but likely them.

Re: 1090, neither IA stn is on at night and never have I heard them on
when they shouldn't be. I presume KAAY. What do they carry overnight when
they have aitime available (per website)? I've hrd Christian mx before.
re: 940 KSPZ can come in well sometimes lately.
re: 690 XEN is a nx stn. XEMA is also more likely here and plays Mex mx
and ID's as La Madre de Todas now. 73 KAZ Barrington IL

Could your UN'id 1090 be KNWS Waterloo, IA or KSOU Sioux Center, IA?
And 940.. KSPZ Des Moines?

Back to bed, and the Tecsun... 1090 had Christian music looping

more on the soft pop-ballad side but seemed Christian. No idea who.
Then Christian music on 940, again strong, looped south to west, but
didn't
