My nephew in Coppell, TX, found this website outlining the history of KDNT in
Denton, my nephew's home town. It's nice to know that the grade school that was
built on the former three-tower transmitter site (and, earlier, home of the
studios), plans to establish a display of some kind to honor radio back when it
used to be locally-oriented and reliable for important breaking news, emergency
and public service information.

Scott Fybush got a look at the old, abandoned tower site a few years ago,
before it had been purchased by the Denton Independent School District.
