Two station notes for south of Pittsburgh, PA. WPDX-750: after many months
silent, I heard them back on with regular programming this morning.
WWCS-540: Radio Disney moved from this dial spot to 1250 in Pittsburgh, and
now 540 is blessedly quiet here for the first time in decades! I live in the
gunsight of this baby blowtorch, which filled 540 24/7 and splattered
530/550 enough to make DX very difficult. Driving home from work tonight, I
heard WGOP (Pocomoke City, MD), likely WGTH (Richlands, VA), and WFLF
(Orlando), with others bubbling in the noise. And on 530, presumed CIAO
(Toronto). What a nice change to have an open channel!
