Hi Allen,
Sorry for the confusion. I found out about Chuck's 1566-India logging
(in November of 2008 on an SRF-T615) from Guy Atkins, and Chuck has
been very modest about sharing the details. India is prime target for
Grayland, WA DXers, who seem to have a fascination with it.
Since you are the official records keeper for the Ultralightdx Yahoo
group, Allen, and we haven't yet heard of an official "First India"
logging, I thought that Chuck's reception was the only one. Good luck
in tracking it down again, for an official logging.
73, Gary

Hi Everyone,
Regarding the recent mentions of logging India on an Ultralight Radio
As Jim Renfrew mentions, From Signal Hill,Newfoundland this past fall,
I heard what sounded like Indian type music only for a short period of
time with no chance at hearing anything further such as ID or talk, as
the signal diminished quickly thereafter, At this point I cannot say
with certainty that it truly was the India signal on 1566.
