I can't speak to what propagation paths are like from North America to Europe, but we've had transpolar DX from Japan, in Newfoundland, mid-fall, post-sunrise. Same with my greyline stuff from there to Vancover BC...

I seriously doubt that the test will be received at 0500 UTC in Finland, the
sun has already risen. In other words 0400 UTC would be more appropriate.
