Hi Bill,
Inre CJJC....They may have ended up on 800 but (as Pat Martin said) they
started on 850. I well remember back in the fall of 1965, when KOA used
to sign off at midnight MST on sunday night, leaving the frequency open
in the west. I received excellent reception from KICY Nome AK but I
kept hearing this other station far beneath them. It took me a month or
so but finally I caught the ID from CJJC Langley BC. Nice letter verie
soon followed. Always a soft place in my dx heart :-) . Never heard
them on 800 but did hear Penticton frequently from either Sacto or S.F.

Hi, A couple of additions to the list of stations no longer on the air: CJJC (
CJUP ,CKST) Langley on 800 (not 850) : CFVR Abbotsford on 850 : CJVI Victoria
on 900 (off air but hardware is still in use by Camosun College as CKMO which
is scheduled to die sometime next year in favour of using the internet only)
