I used to collect the great Texaco road maps which had radio listings too. In larger cities there were Texaco Touring Centers where you could pick up maps. My dad worked for RCA at 30 Rock and would drop by the Touring Center and over a span of days get me all 50! Nice memory about old maps, thanks. George Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T

It's a great historical reference. I have about 500 maps in my collection from about that period. Once of my favorite is a Nova Scotia official map from 1982 that lists a lot of low-powered CBC AM outlets through the province, when they were still around. Really interesting stuff.
