Auroral conditions -- also noticed here -- Not every day you hear Auroral flutter on WWV Colorado on 15 Mhz -- if only briefly. MUF has been beyond 28Mhz the last week or so -- and no E-skip openings noticed. So the higher that goes, the higher the probability for aurora.
