I have noticed since getting the R8 back, the S Meter is more sensitive to minor changes. I normally get local KSWB 840 at 9 miles at S9+38 days (1KW) and S9+35 nights (500w). But at times depending on conditions, the signal can drop or go up a bit. I have noticed anywhere from S9+32-35 (500w) to S9+38-40 (1 KW). This is on the SW EWE. Anyone ever notice this on locals?
