Just noticed this on Saturday afternoon while trying to listen to WWL 870 for latest news on flooding.
Extremely loud buzz totally covering entire MW band (530 -1700 khz). Only locals punching through noise. Went through perfunctory tests here - switched off everything we could think of - no joy. Noticed on every radio tried. Guess next step will be to contact Reliant Energy (local electrical provider) & put trouble report into their system. Any other Houston-area DXers experiencing same problems as me?
