I had a great visit from Gary DeBock and his son today. His new Ferrite loop is amazing. He hooked it up in the backyard and I grabbed a portable nd sat it next to the loop and not bad, on stations to the East, KXLX-700 and KBOI-670 were weak but audible Mid afternoon. The 1500' beverage was better, but Gary's loop was probably 60-70% of the signal on the beverage. Anyway, after they left, I got looking at my NW EWE I just rehooked back up and I found I could move the SE leg of it abit farther out to make it make 5-10 degrees more to the NW. I think I can do it again, after checked it again, but every little bit helps. It may improve my chances of logging some of the few Alaskan's I am still missing like KIYU-910 and KNSA-930. Thanks Gary for the great visit!
