I never thought to check their pattern. I do admit to thinking, before reading your e-mail, something along the lines of - betcha it was a slam dunk for Rick - before opening your post to the lists. I should never assume anything. I can only say I'm glad you heard it last time 'round! I sat on 1590 from 0005 to 0150 CLT and didn't hear a trace. WGBW's day pattern, as has been alluded to already here, has a deep null almost straight at me (to protect WPVL and/or KWBG, I would assume). The only thing I can surmise as to why they came in with a decent signal during the test on 10/16/2010 is that conditions to the northeast must have been favorable that night. 73, Rick Dau South Omaha, Nebraska From: Dave Hascall <[email protected]> To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]>; "[email protected]" <[email protected]>; "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, October 23, 2011 11:04 AM Subject: [IRCA] WGBW 1590 Only got to try from 0140-0150 (sick wife) MIGHT have had some sweep tones, once.
