Hi All:

I've noted WLGN, 1510, Logan, Ohio, w/open carrier several times in the past
few weeks, then at other times with their usual oldies format.  This morning
(10/31) they're completely silent, no carrier at all.  I'm wondering if this
might be the beginning of their second extended silent period in three years.
Since the tire plant closed Logan's economy has not been good and I've not
heard WLGN-AM carry a local ad for a long time.  Their FM is still on with its
usual cw format.  Worse still for Logan, their usually powerful HS football
team had a lousy season.
