I suppose Sioux Falls is probably the biggest market not affected by
this. We have no Clear Channel stations and I think KMNS and KWSL in
Sioux City are the closest on AM.
Both carry sports so I wonder if one or the other will go dark or be
sold in the near future.
The 5 Sioux Falls stations, plus one "Brandon, SD" station with it's
tower in Sioux Falls, all do an exemplary job of public service, as do
the TV and most FM stations during blizzards and other emergencies.
I just wish I didn't live so close to their towers sometimes...

A close friend of mine who was the production director for KFAB-1110 was one of
5 people that Clear Channel canned here. So this means...what?...that Clear
Channel is trending towards having ALL of its stations carry nationally
syndicated programming 24/7? No local programming (and therefore, no DJs to
pay) to be allowed whatsoever?
That hurts.
