Thanks Mauno. I'll post this over at mwoffsets along with your observations. I've only ever identified DLF on this channel in our evenings, so the possibility of Canary Islands is intriguing.

Here in Finland this faded in around 1830 and out between 0500-0600, which might fit best to R. ECCA from Canary Islands. Maybe someone on mwoffsets list would know? Iran today as low as 1268.65 kHz.
