12/ 04/11 15:45 PST Victoria BC.At 3PM PST, with a Grundig G3 I managed to get some of the 50KW west bound signals from Alberta,mainly from Calgary on 770, 1010,1060,1140,and Edmonton on 930,1260,and from Spokane Wa on970,Nampa ID on 1350. Signals from the south were mainly not in yet except for Salt Lake City on 700 and 1160. These were heard in an outside location away from digital noise and all were comparable to night time signal strength. After getting out of the cold air and back into my signal killing apartment more was coming in with a better receiver. At 3: 45 Belgrade MT presented a decent clear signal on 640 until power drop at LSS. After 4PM it is still coming in weakly after west coast LSS and is now mixing with LA. 720 is showing more than one signal so I assume it is Sweet home OR under Las Vegas or vice versa.One has dropped out leaving LV to occupy the slot.On 700 Winston Or is still on with readable signal with religious show after LSS on what sounds like more than their 470 watt night power.Perhaps an in between day and night critical power level.
