The balanced preamp I'm using has MOSFETs that weren't available when the original Kiwa loops were produced. On a bundled ferrite it works great in a noisy environment.

All wood version similar to the Kiwa is on the drawing board and starting to gather parts/materials for it. Probably won't have time to mess with it until May or June though. :( Parts cost alone would be about $300 if I used everything new rather than scrounged/scrapped so I don't expect to be marketing, just a one-off out of curiosity.
