Radio that captured CBK 540 Sask across a distance of +/- 800 miles at 1200 PST
is an unboosted Redsun RP2100 sitting on a west facing window sill in a 16th
floor (altitude approx 150 ') apartment in the magnetic field of a digital TV /
computer main cable of the building.  Fortunately some freqs including 540 are
not affected by digital noise. Most of the band is noisy, especially above 1200
khz, preventing dx on all but a few freqs. The odd time the whole band clears up
somehow as the digital noise source is interrupted unexpectedly and that's my
lucky day. Unfortunately the weather isn't favourable for going out too long
otherwise snags like this are common on all the vacant freqs here. Bill in BC
