Bill,

Here at 11:27 PM PST with KPDQ 800 religious station phased down a Pop station
is in
with "Thriller".  It just ID as Penticton,  BC CKOR EZ rock.  I can use CKOR
for the letterama
contest.  No sign of a Spanish speaking station.  KBFP Bakerfield, CA is listed
as Spanish with
440 watts at night

Best regards,

Dennis,
Kalama, WA

Subject: [IRCA] 760,(800),870.

 02/18/12---2000PST-Victoria,BC.
At 8PM PST Three slots were occupied by 3 signals usually not heard but due to
the absence of the usual occupiers they were audible for a few minutes but
dropped back into the far unreachable graveyard of unidentifyable signals.
On 760 it was CFLD Burns Lake BC in weak but on top with their AC format on 500
watts. To verify it was them the program was// to 870 which was also showing
similar signal performance from CFBV Smithers BC with 1000 watts.
Also in between the two 800 was throwing an S 8 to 10 signal from an SS
language station with hablo en Espaniol mentioning Mexico. I don't believe it
was coming from way down there but since I dont see a US format with SS listed
on this slot I might leave that open until someone closer to the fence can
verify this for me. Bill in BC
