Scott Fybush reports on a tentative DX test of KBOI 670 Boise ID Saturday
morning March 10: From Scott: If WSCR is actually off the air Friday
night/Saturday morning March 10, KBOI has graciously agreed to do some testing
for the DX community. Because they have regular programming (and regular
listeners) at that hour, it will be somewhat limited - a code ID over normal
programming around 1:07 AM MST (3:07 AM EST) and probably again around 1:37 AM
MST (3:37 AM EST). During the code transmissions ONLY, KBOI may switch to its
50 kW ND day signal. There's no absolute guarantee that this will happen yet -
it depends on WSCR actually being off and the engineer's ability to make this
happen around his other responsibilities, but it should be a great opportunity
to log Idaho if it comes to pass.

I'll follow up with QSL information and such as needed. Stay tuned, and happy
DXing!
Happy, indeed, Scott! Thanks! Saul ChernosIRCA-NRC DX TEST COMMITTEE
