Early this morning I added another station into my ultralight log.

4/12/12
0628UTC 530 Radio Rebelde, Guatánamo GU Cuba (1 kW @ approximately 2812 km /
1747 mi), weak signal with talk and music // 5025 kHz, heard on
barefoot Sony SRF-T615. When first observed it was barely audible under Radio
Enciclopedia but the signal improved as the stronger station faded away. I
listened until 0644 UTC.

ULR station #995 (barefoot #984) and Cuba #28.

There have been recent reports of another Rebelde transmitter located in
western Cuba. However, this station's signal peaked at 120-125° which would
indicate
it was more likely in eastern Cuba.

Buena DX.

Richard.
