There were a couple more in the recordings, though nothing earth
shattering. I'm pretty sure HLAZ wasn' t modulating, except for the
pips on the hour. Monster carrier from about 1240 to past 1300UT,
but not any audio except for the pips.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):
still none
reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
1053 jamming away from 1233 to past 1300, maxing out at this level later on
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be
understood by a native speaker:
none except for 1053 passing through
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :
279 faint mx 1214UT, not bad for an unresponsive antenna (Flag)
1575 faint mx 1217, man talking 1241; couldn't pull out language. VoA?
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):
747, 774, 828
best wishes,
Nick
