>From Michigan: 657: Produced another tantalizing carrier for much of the listening session, but again with no audio when the others were peaking.
702: Very faint audio around 1105 UTC that lasted a good 5 minutes or so, but never strong enough to comprehend the language. Carrier takes a big dive and is nearly gone completely by 1113. It rises again at 1116 to produce audio, this time a little stronger. I can now tell it's a female with a deep voice reading news, though language is still difficult to determine but presumed Sydney. 738: Also faint audio peaking a few minutes around 1115 UTC, again not enough signal to produce good audio like a few days ago though a respectable carrier was present for most of the 1100-1130 UTC listening session. All in all, an average morning here with weak carriers noted on most of the 9 KHz channels on the lower end of the band. 73, Tim Tromp West Michigan Perseus SDR + phased BOGs _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
