Hello All,
The Asiatic TP conditions here seemed a little more wild than those reported by
Dennis, Nick and Bruce. Chinese and Korean stations were unusually strong, and
the big news was an obscure Chinese station on 603 kHz completely taking over
the frequency at a very strong level around 1310. This Chinese station had been
heard during previous seasons mixing with HLSA at a weak level, but this
morning it completely hijacked the frequency. For the first time this season an
Asiatic TP maxed out the PL-380's S/N readout at 25 (the 1053-Korean Jammer at
1318), and 972-HLCA came close to doing the same around 1335. Unfortunately the
great conditions to Korea also boosted up the bizarre tirades and obsolete
music on 657 kHz-- but at least this year's solar conditions are providing a
few exciting TP-DXing sessions.
