Small (but rather important) correction Paul-that's Burns, Oregon NOT Oklahoma.

I was scratching my head trying to figure out where on earth Burns Oklahoma 
could be that it would be far enough from Guymon to allow a station to inhabit 
the same clear channel.

The station got it's Construction Permit to move from 1230khz with 1KW Non 
Directional full time to 1210Khz with 10KW Day/2 towers and 650 W Night 2 
towers. 

The best way to describe the pattern is a mushroom with the top laying on it's 
right side, beaming east.
