Walter did well - all things considered - my noise level covered any hints of activity - not a hint. I have scheduled an appointment with the Cable company and advised Industry Canada (U.S. equivalent of the FCC) -- and they responded within 6 hours! I thought I had a pretty good idea how CATV systems work -- and my cable provider provides digital TV, internet and telephone - so I am not quite sure why the entire AM, SW and FM bands (and beyond) are blasted with hash seemingly emanating from my cable TV wall drops. Kind of ironic - up until a month ago or so, my 16 story tower was a super quiet environment for radio listening and ham radio activities. ================================================== Colin Newell - Victoria B.C.
