I had high hopes of hearing something from across the southern Pacific this morning. But it wasn't to be. The only signal audible from there was a very strong het from 702-2BL, heard from 1209 until fade-out at 1244 GMT. It rivaled those strong hets often heard here from 972-HLCA and 1521-Duba. Sadly it didn't break away from the loud het into the audio.
Unlike the past few mornings there was no trace of signals on 567, 612, or 774 kHz. Receiver was a PL-310 and seven-inch FSL antenna. Hoping your DXing this morning was more successful. Richard.
