I had only two 9 kHz station in with audio again today, and no other carriers.
1575 VOA Thailand was in with presumed Thai language at 1435 (fair) for a few minutes before fading away. I also had unid. weak audio on 972, presumed HLCA South Korea who is the usual occupant of this frequency at my location. It's interesting, but I hadn't noticed before until Gary mentioned it that my location (and/or antenna) in town favors the high band TPs, and his receptions tend to be low band more often. Colin, I felt a knife twisting when you mentioned Norway at 3 in the afternoon, and Australians at 10 a.m. :^) Those are the kind of DXing memories that we often dwell upon when conditions are poor; it keeps us hoping for a return to the "glory days" of the solar cycle.
