Gary: It was the morning I've been waiting for all season. I wish I'd spent more time on 954 and 1242 kHz, and earlier
I've figured out, when using a Tecsun receiver, it's best to tune the FSL by ear if possible. The antenna definitely showed off with JOAK this morning. I can't believe Nick's reception of 594-JOAK so late past sunrise this morning. It's fantastic DX. Have a good time on the Oregon coast. I hope the weather and sunspots cooperate. Good DX. You seem to be making some serious progress in mastering the 7" FSL antenna. Unfortunately I missed out on the great TP-DXing conditions this morning because our family is traveling to Cannon Beach, Oregon today for a 3-day vacation. This is the motel location for the "Rockwork" ocean side cliff complex, which seems to be the new TP-DXing venue of choice for Broadband FSL DXers. 73, Gary DeBock (in Puyallup, WA, USA) _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
