Hello All,

Unfortunately yesterday's exceptional TP-DXing conditions didn't continue
through this morning, but there were still some potent Asian signals from
several Korean big guns. The weaker Chinese and Japanese stations stayed down
in the noise during the west coast sunrise period, although several of them
were around during the Asian sunset period from 1000-1100 UTC (which generally
had better propagation). 1566-HLAZ was strong with its Korean Christian program
around 1015, and 972-HLCA had its best signal of the month around 1440 with its
late-night easy listening music. Other than occasional good signals from
594-JOAK, 657-Pyongyang, 747-JOIB, 774-JOUB, 828-JOBB and 1134-KBS the sunrise
enhancement session didn't deliver very much else, and yesterday's second-tier
signals on 558, 738, 936, 1017, 1035, 1044, 1323, 1377, 1503 and 1593 were long
gone. Of course, it's probably better to be thankful for whatever TP's still
show up during the "December Doldrums," especially in a lean!
  solar year.
