It's interesting that you mention this, Nigel. Apart from 1539, the mideast was also represented by Radio Farda on 1575, with time pips and an ID at 1430, and Kuwait on 1593. Also a weak signal on 1413 at 1433. Was hoping for BBC Oman, but too weak to ID. 1098 was in quite nicely for a while in Chinese.
