I believe the True Oldies Channel played songs from the '50s when it first began but of course they were forced to believe that anything from the '50s is too old. That's what the so called experts would like us to think.

Those are the same people who say that the word "oldies" should not be heard on regular over the air radio and should be replaced by "classic hits" even though the average person calls this music "oldies."

According to an interview a year or two ago with Scott Shannon, his True Oldies Channel never plays anything from the 1950's, so it probably wasn't WAXB.
