As Richard, Bill and Walt have reported the Asian signals were generally
improved this morning, although the sunrise enhancement here was kind of a
fizzle. The best signals were heard around 1415, and included 594-JOAK (good),
603-HLSA (fair), 738-BEL2 (poor), 747-JOIB (good), 828-JOBB (fair), 936-Anhui
(poor), 972-HLCA (fair), 1287-JOHK (fair), 1566-HLAZ (very good) and 1575-VOA
(good). After 1500 the lower-band signals slid into the noise, leaving
1566-HLAZ and 1575-VOA as the sole survivors here during a lackluster sunrise
enhancement. Best signal of the morning (by far) was 1566-HLAZ around 1415,
with vibrant Chinese speech.
