This is the saddest news I've heard in a long, long time. Don Kaskey was one
of the few survivors among the DX'ers who were members of the National Radio
Club when I joined in 1956. His love of the hobby and the friendships he
established during the subsequent 57 years were part of the foundation our
hobby is built upon. I met Don at NRC's Eugene, Oregon Convention in 1967. I
admired his sense of humor and his patience with most of us.
