Well, I've gone and done it again. For the second time in recent months, while changing the 9-volt battery that powers my Quantum QX Pro loop antenna, I've managed to break the clasp (the one that snaps onto the top of a 9-volt battery) apart from the negative wire that goes into the back of the base. And this time, I managed to break off the positive wire, as well. What I've been doing when switching out 9-volts is to take my index finger and thumb and pull the clasp off the battery. Should I be using a flathead screwdriver, or something else, to pry it off? Somehow, I'm using too much force, but I can't think of any other way. 73, a frustrated Rick Dau South Omaha, Nebraska _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca
