An odd morning. Not any really good signals, but a few "spotlights" . Listened around 1330, 1400 and 1430UT approximately, while keeping an eye on ye olde DX Fishbarrel at other times.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

asking a bit much I'm afraid

reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

594 JOAK man talking JJ, at 1426UT all alone on the band (barring domestics)
1575 VoA man in SE Asian language at 1335UT, best of the morning; lower band signals were better later

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be
understood by a native speaker:

738 Tahiti man in FF 1406UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

531 ???? brass band mx 1337UT, and certainly not // 594 which had an overexcited announcer (sports?)
774 woman talking 1429, too weak for any guess at language

Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

best wishes,

Nick
