Hi Kenneth, You first need to register for a free account:
http://www.mwlist.org/ul_register.php?sprache=en Once you have been approved feel welcome to contact me off the list and I can walk you through the first steps of setting up a receiving location (from where distances are calculated). It's not the most intuitive interface when first getting started, but once setup, it's a valuable tool and easy to navigate. Also, you will occasionally come across some outdated call letters, but Günter usually responds quickly if you alert him and he will update the database with the correct information. Here's a sample screenshot of the interface showing the stations listed on 1450 kHz, sorted closest to most distant from my listening location: http://amdxer.com/misc/mwlist.jpg As you log stations, those stations become highlighted in yellow to let you know which ones you have already logged. Also notice the azimuth column that you can use to sort stations - another nice feature. All of your logs can be graphically displayed on a map too. These are new stations that I logged last night. These get automatically displayed on the DX map: http://www.mwlist.org/mw_logmap.php?sort=&datum=2013-05-05&hours=0&omid=194&band=ALL&kmmi=mi -Tim On Sun, 2013-05-05 at 20:09 -0500, Kenneth Nawalkowski wrote: > Hi, > I checked out this site but for some reason I cannot see where the > distance calculator feature is that Rick is interested in.
