Tonight is our last night in Kona -- I may make one more attempt to punch through the radio fog here - We have had lots of Vog and 1/2 of most days have been gray. One wonders if this has any effect on reception -- Previous reports from Walter when he was visiting the South seas is that places around Tahiti can be notoriously quiet.
Combined with a poorly behaved priority radio (YB400PE) and an underutilized FSL (which will reside on a coffee farm for a month or so in good hands...) - this is easily the poorest DX outing for me ever.
