Since you are not looking for an Ultralight, and good FM performance is
not a must, I think you are going to be very happy with a Tecsun PL-660.
It does include SSB, Sync detection and airband.
I have Sangeans, Grundig/Eton, and other Tecsun ultralights. This is the
best portable I have right now.
SW is great, AM is good, Sync detection and SSB work very well. FM is
the weak point with my unit. The PL-310 or PL-606 would be better
options for FM, in my opinion.
