Did you check 1143 this morning Gary? Remember, you have a pipeline to Taiwan, and if I'm hearing something (I was, just.) then you're probably hearing quite a bit more, hi. But you're right, the Asians have been anemic and erratic; you have to be there when they fade up, briefly.

best wishes,

Nick

Hello All,

I've been checking the past couple of mornings here for Asian TP signals, but the results have been far from encouraging. Either the Asians are having a lot of trouble getting out of the gate, or I've been completely spoiled by the potent DU signals on the Oregon cliffs this summer (probably both).

This morning there was extremely feeble audio from 738-Tahiti (in 740-KCBS splatter), 972-HLCA (in "Freedom 970" splatter) and 1134-KBS (in 1130-CKWX splatter). All of the TP "action" was finished up by 1330. It's tough to get used to "minimalist DXing" again, and having to endure "shutout" days. In the summer, nothing like this ever happens on the Cliffs :-)
