Hello All,
In general Nigel predicted accurately that there would be a TP dive back into
mediocrity this morning, although 657-Pyongyang seemed to buck the trend here
with its first decent tirade of the new season (or maybe that's a different
kind of mediocrity?). The only other interesting change was that 603-China made
its first anemic appearance of the new season, replacing HLSA (which was at a
fairly decent level yesterday). The Japanese big guns were way down in
strength, and although 972-HLCA and the 1053-Jammer were at fair to good
strength, their signals were also down from yesterday's levels. 738-Taiwan had
very wispy audio at times, but it was no match for the 740-KCBS splatter. In
general, it was a pretty lackluster morning.
