The link to the article in the Omaha World-Herald is the same one that appeared 
on the ABDX listserver about a week ago.  My response to that link is below.  
In short, KOMJ has a very limited listenership and I'd be totally happy if 1490 
disappeared from the Omaha radio dial for good.

Interesting how several folks responded to the World-Herald's article and 
stated they enjoyed Magic 1490's programming, with one gentleman even going so 
far as to say he'd be very upset if it went off the air.  Considering that KOMJ 
doesn't even show up in ANY book going back over the past 12 months, I can't 
imagine who these people would be. 
 
I live approx. 2 miles ENE of their transmitter.  Their signal bleeds over much 
of the upper half of the band at my QTH.  Believe me, if the FCC stepped in and 
took it off the air, tomorrow or whenever, I wouldn't shed a tear.
