The link to the article in the Omaha World-Herald is the same one that appeared on the ABDX listserver about a week ago. My response to that link is below. In short, KOMJ has a very limited listenership and I'd be totally happy if 1490 disappeared from the Omaha radio dial for good. 73, Rick Dau South Omaha, Nebraska

No one seems to know Interesting how several folks responded to the World-Herald's article and stated they enjoyed Magic 1490's programming, with one gentleman even going so far as to say he'd be very upset if it went off the air. Considering that KOMJ doesn't even show up in ANY book going back over the past 12 months, I can't imagine who these people would be. I live approx. 2 miles ENE of their transmitter. Their signal bleeds over much of the upper half of the band at my QTH. Believe me, if the FCC stepped in and took it off the air, tomorrow or whenever, I wouldn't shed a tear. 73, Rick Dau South Omaha, Nebraska ________________________________ From: Dennis Gibson <[email protected]> To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, September 16, 2013 4:20 PM Subject: [ABDX] Where's Omaha's 'Magic 1490' radio coming from?
