Point taken Chuck, Bruce did report it here a short while ago, and there is no
argument about the parallel's existence. But it caught me by surprise as I was
going out the door, and I never even looked at PAL for parallels, just made
sure it was recording.

And although CNR11 is relatively new on the channel, I'm surprised that it's
just appearing. It seems that conditions seem to move "further out", if only
briefly, as we move towards November. Something similar happened here with
Dongfang on 603....a "how come I've never heard that before", and in a few
weeks, returning to a condition of not hearing it. There's probably some gold
lurking on those SDR recordings.

best wishes

Nick

Nick:

I was sure about the parallel because we had heard and reported it from
Grayland last weekend, with Bruce including a mention that it really sounded
like 1.2 MW. Only CNR11 would have a signal like that, BTW, this is the ex
1134 transmitter that was heard around the world.

You're right, it is Chuck....at least this morning it is, with a lady
nattering away on 1098 //7350, but last night, I knew nothing about a
parallel, so it was still a mystery then. Oh, and there is something else
struggling to get through on the channel; all best on the North Flag
