How well does KMKI Plano TX get out? I'd closed down the AOR and listening on
the ultralight, getting ready to doze off, when I heard something saying radio
Disney. That's all I heard. I was actually trying to see if I could null WTMJ
to get the IA station there which I've been chasing, when I heard what I thinik
I heard. Enough so that I got out of bed, mumbling 'Radio Disney?' aloud. There
is one, KMKI in Plano, which is just underneath OK so not too far into TX. I
heard absolutely nothing else resembling Radio Disney, or //1560, on the ULR or
on the AOR when I fired it back up. Cx were good leading up to this. Best ever
signal here from 225 Poland, 940 KVSH in Valentine NE (new, which I just IDed
this aft going over audio of a break in local sports), and others from the
midwest. But nothing quite down into TX...
How does KMKI 620 TX do at night?
