Paul both 690 & 1610 have been logged many times in the USA - mostly back in the 1980's although 1610 has been heard in the past couple of years. Their towers were destroyed or at least severely damaged by a hurricane about 10 years ago. 1610 then came back on after an extended period of silence but was not nearly as strong as before. I believe 690 has been silent for several years.

Does anyone know what kind of power output the two stations run? I have to assume 1610 gets out better and 690 is a bit hammpered by WOKV acksonville and other 690s. What is the purpose of 2 AM frequencies down there anyways?
