Hello All,

There were some fairly vibrant Asian signals to be Thankful for this morning on
both the low and high band, as a generous sunrise enhancement repeated for a
second day. The listening session started off here at 1500 with both 1017-CRI
and 1593-CNR1 having unusual strength, and the latter managed one of its best
sessions ever here through the 1590 Seattle splatter. Like yesterday, the
low-band Asians on 639, 648 and 657 kicked into gear with good signals in and
out around 1525, although yesterday's star 603-HLSA had trouble joining the
party. It stayed at an anemic level all session long, failing to match even the
fair-to-good signals of its 558-HLQH parallel.. Both 639-CNR1 and 648-VOR
(Korean service) were at a steady fair to good level at this time, while
657-Pyongyang's bizarre music was mixing with the domestic splatter in an
irritating way. 738-BEL2 also had signals improved over yesterday, but never
came up to a more than a fair level.

936-Anhui (presumed) and 1377-CNR1 both managed fair signals in and out during
the 1500-1520 period, and the Korean big guns on 972, 1134 and 1566 had no
trouble being heard. The star of Thanksgiving morning here was 1593-CNR1,
socking it to the 1590 Seattle splatter for most of the sunrise enhancement
period. It was its best performance here for several years, and set the tone
for what was a Chinese-dominated listening session.
