Hello All,

Asian results here were very similar to Dennis's report, with TP's that were
totally comatose at 1420 coming to life on both the low and high bands during a
generous sunrise enhancement.

Not even a decent Asian carrier was around at 1420, but a second check at 1535
revealed a fair-level 603-HLSA with the music that Dennis mentioned, along with
its weaker Chinese co-channel dropping in and out. Other low band stations that
managed audio at this time were 594-JOAK (fair), 648-VOR (fair) and 693-JOAB
(poor to fair). The high band was considerably more vibrant with 1377-CNR1,
1575-VOA and 1593-CNR1 all in and out with good signals from 1540-1600,
although there were some domestic splatter issues here on 1377 and 1593. Best
signal of the morning was an overachieving 1593-CNR1, which maintained good
signals (in and out of 1590-Seattle splatter) right up until 1605. By that
time it was the sole Asian survivor here, although 972-HLCA had also been
boosted by sunrise enhancement to carry on with fair signals until the 1600
TOH. Overall it was an unusual Asian morning, saved completely by an unusually
potent sunrise propagation boost.

1593 CNR1 Changzhou, China Good-strength
          Chinese vocal music (through 1590-Seattle
splatter) at 1557; best TP signal of the morning
