Hi Bruce, <<< I haven't seen any reports from Dennis or Gary yet today. If you guys actually tried listening for TPs this morning, you have my condolences. If you didn't, then you probably didn't miss much (even though a lousy morning here isn't necessarily the same for others). >>>
Can't speak for Dennis, but I was checking the band this morning-- and ended up with practically nothing (like you). Hoping for a repeat of yesterday's potent sunrise enhancement boost, I checked the comatose band at 1350, 1430, 1500 and 1530 UTC, and came away with nothing more than a very anemic 972-HLCA and 1566-HLAZ around 1500. Thanks for your report, Bruce-- misery does enjoy company. 73, Gary -----Original Message----- From: Bruce Portzer <[email protected]> To: Mailing list for the International Radio Club of America <[email protected]> Sent: Tue, Jan 14, 2014 5:43 pm Subject: [IRCA] DX - such as it was - January 14 I haven't seen any reports from Dennis or Gary yet today. I went through the SDR files and managed to find four of the usual suspects barely rising above the noise for a couple of minutes each. I'm glad the SDR did all the work while I slept and got ready to head out the door.
