There ARE still stations that do, you just have to know where to look to find
them.  KTIC-840 in West Point, Nebraska still signs off at LSS, and so does
KNAB-1140 in Burlington, CO.  Other stations like KCTA-1030 in Corpus Christ,
TX and WKAR-870 in East Lansing, Michigan simply cut power in the middle of a
program at LSS time rather than air a proper sign-off announcement.

Subject: [IRCA] Doesn't anybody sign off anymore?

Hi All:

Noted in the last half hour WUFO, 1080, Amhearst, NY w/urban contemp, WKTE,
1090, King, NC w/urban oldies (both on late for MLK Day?) and the Oil City on
1120 w/ESPN, all blasting in between 1800 and 1830. Only WUFO is new here. Why
do I get the feeling the foxes have taken over the AM henhouse?
